We are Here for You

Welcome to America!  We want to help you, as an international student, have the best experience possible while you are here.  Our goal is to help you feel  at home, connecting you with each other as well as with people in the community.  Some of us come from local churches, some are part of the Widener community, some are neighbors, but we are all here for you.

Special Events

Throughout the year we will be hosting events where you can get to know each other better as well as experiencing some of our great American traditions. We want to provide a variety of on and off campus opportunities for friendship, places to ask questions and receive practical help, and times to have some fun with each other and those in the local community.

International Friendship Network

How would you like to be the guest in an American home?  Widener has set up a network of families in the community that would love to have you over for a meal!  You can sign up through International Student Services.

International Friends is a partnership between Widener’s International Student Services, the Interfaith Center, and local churches.
