Summer Sports Begin June 28

Summer is here, and so it is time for outdoor sports on Monday nights! Starting June 28 we will be playing hockey at 6 pm each Monday at Chester Park. You can roller blade or play on foot. Feel free to invite anyone you know. We will keep playing for as long as a reasonable number of people are able to come each week, so come join the fun.

If you need directions or other details contact Dan Cowen.

Grace BFC Picnic

Join us for our annual Grace BFC Church Picnic on Sunday June 27 at noon at Ridley Creek State Park – Pavilion 11-a.  Hot dogs and all the fixings provided.  You may want to bring a chair and some outdoor games.

Delaware Country Young Adults Picnic & Games

All young adults are invited to a picnic with other local area churches on Saturday June 26 from noon til 4pm at Chester Park (Elkinton Blvd Chester, PA)

What to Bring:
» $3 for food
» favorite group game (board game/outdoor game)
» Guys – something to drink/bag of munchies
» Ladies – salad or dessert

We will be grilling hot dogs for the group, but if you have something you want grilled instead, feel free to bring it along. This is a rain or shine event, so if it is raining, we will be heading to Aldan Union Church (7 East Providence Road Aldan, PA 19018).

If you could RSVP here or on the new DCYAF Facebook page, that would be a big help so we can make sure we will have enough food.

CBS Renaissance Faire

Come help us run the Renaissance Faire that serves as the closing program for Community Bible School at Grace BFC.  We need as many hands as possible to oversee games for the kids from 6:00 – 8:30, as well as to help clean up afterwards.  If you know you can help please let Mark Bickel know so we can be sure we have enough people.

We would love it if people could dress in medieval garb – for the guys if you would wear either jeans or shorts and a tee shirt, we will give you a period looking shirt to put over your tee-shirt.  If women could wear a long skirt and appropriate top (contact Joyce Taylor for more info).
